Aparanhe Udayabhanu (Sunshine in the Afternoon Years) is an elderly care initiative focused on ensuring a dignified and healthy life for senior citizens, initially launching in Bhubaneswar.

Sweat Bank – A Community Care Initiative

A unique initiative under Aparanhe Udayabhanu, the Sweat Bank builds a community-driven support system for the elderly. Volunteers assist senior citizens, with each hour of service credited as “time savings.”
These hours can be redeemed in times of need, ensuring support without financial burden. Volunteers also become beneficiaries when they attain  the  age of 65.
The initiative promotes dignity, mutual care, a self-sustaining cycle of service and support.

Committed to developing highly skilled Panchakarma therapists in Odisha

Panchakarma Training Center

At Udayabhanu, we are establishing a Panchakarma Training Center at our Naturo-Therapy facility in Bhubaneswar to empower local youth through skill-based education in traditional healing.

This 3-month intensive program offers practical and foundational training in Panchakarma and naturopathic therapies, guided by experienced professionals.

Participants will gain hands-on experience in:

  • Abhyanga (Therapeutic Massage)
  • Swedana (Steam Therapy)
  • Meru Snana (Spinal Bath)
  • Lavana Snana (Salt Bath)
  • Basti procedures
  • Nasya (Nasal Therapy)

The program focuses on practical learning, discipline and holistic wellness, preparing trainees for careers in wellness centres or self-employment.

This initiative supports community upliftment, preserves traditional knowledge and promotes holistic healthcare.
